Blue Pointe Restaurant, formerly Lombardis, opened in July of 1982 in Detroit's Upper Eastside. Owner David Muer combined the popular Italian cuisine with his love for fresh seafood to create the original menu. Some popular entrée favorites include fresh Pickerel Italian style, fresh Perch, Joe Muer's style Shrimp Ilene and Crab Balls with mustard sauce, Veal Tosca, Steaks, Clam Chowder, Fettuccini Alfredo and Lasagna.
