• Excellent Prime Rib

  Go to this restaurant on a Thurs, Friday or Saturday evening and order Prime Rib. Only 3 evenings a week with 3 different sizes. I take friends who are visiting to Dick and Nellies on prime rib night. The prime rib is done the way you want it although i find if you order after 8 p.m. you may not be able to get rare prime rib. They employ an Alto-Shaam to cook the roast.

  Nearby the Seaplane Base (and conveniently located nearby our motel 'Sunset Suites') is a restaurant, named "Desperate Dick's and Durty Nellie's Bar & Grill". This SeaBee sits as a prop outside the restaurant. Inside many vintage (aircraft) photos adorn the walls. Very nice place!
  One can still make out part of the tailnumber: CF-FH. That last digit seems to have gone missing. The website www.seabee.info identifies it as CF-FSG however, c/n 919.

• Order: Lasagna, caesar salad, big friggin desert
• Food was tasty, atmosphere - sports bar meets wild west. Service was good for how busy restaurant was. Had a geat time.

  I just moved to Sioux Lookout in northern Ontario and there is a Pub and Grill here that goes by the name of Desperate Dick's and Durty Nellies Pub and Grill. Went there tonight for supper and it was really good.
