Prior to becoming a web developer, I spent 10 years in the service industry, all the way from my first job in high school, to well beyond college. I worked the line, bartended, waited tables, was a sushi chef, and yes, washed dishes (hey, we all have to start somewhere). I've seen first-hand how difficult it is to run a restaurant, and sadly, I've seen many great places come and go.
Several years ago, while I was a cook at a small restaurant here in North Portland, I was approached by my boss and asked to design a website for the restaurant. He told me he didn't know anyone else who could, and didn't have anywhere else to turn. It occurred to me at that moment that were are thousands of other restaurant owners in the same predicament, who couldn't afford to hire a web designer, but also couldn't afford to go without a website.
Well, it took a few years, but it looks like that problem has been solved. I hope you enjoy the site.
