Creating links to external sites in your site's navigation bar
You can create links to external sites that appear in your site's navigation bar using the Links feature.
1. Go to Links in the main navigation.
2. Click Create a new link.
3. Enter your information.
a. Title - What you would like the link to appear as.
b. http:// - The web address of the link (i.e. www.myspace.com)
c. Description - This doesn't apply to navigation links, so you can leave it blank.
4. Check the Navigation? checkbox to assign the link to the navigation bar.
5. If you want the link to pop open a new window when it is clicked (as opposed to leaving the site), check Popup?.
6. Press Save! when you are finished.
Creating links to external sites in your site's 'Link' page
1. Go to Links in the main navigation.
2. Click Create a new link.
3. Enter your information.
a. Title - What you would like the link to appear as.
b. http:// - The web address of the link (i.e. www.myspace.com)
c. Description - Enter a short description of where the link goes (this is optional)
4. If you want the link to pop open a new window when it is clicked (as opposed to leaving the site), check Popup?.
5. Press Save! when you are finished.
