Cafe Matisse

Cafe Matisse is located Downtown Ft. Myers on the corner of First Street and Hendry. We are a Coffee House and our Roastmaster, located in Sarasota, has over fourteen years of experience in roasting and profiling coffee. Our coffee is roasted in small batches to allow for accuracy, consistency and freshness in our coffee products.
 
We’re really quite proud of our coffee and hope you enjoy drinking it as much as we enjoy brewing and sharing it. Our House Coffee is a “Smooth Sailing” organic brew from Colombia.
 
Community Built On Coffee
We take great pride in our city and like to think of ourselves as an active part of our local community. We take a personal interest in supporting our neighborhood organizations and charities. Our community is built on coffee and we promote goodwill through the world’s most popular beverage. We are always looking for ways to become more involved and donate our coffee, our time and our energy to helping others and sharing moments of refreshment and relaxation.
 
Where Coffee Comes From…
 
The tropical region has the perfect climate for growing coffee. The moderate temperature stays at around 70 degrees Fahrenheit or 20 degrees Celcius. Areas in the region famous for their coffee include: Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Mexico, Ethiopia, India, Guatamala, Cote D'Ivoire and Uganda.

Besides Coffee we also serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Fresh baked Bread and 
Pastries round off our Menu.
           
                                               Scones
 
Our most popular Pastry are the Scones. We bake Cinnamon Apple- Raspberry White Chocolate- and Blueberry Scones daily.
 
This Scottish QUICK BREAD is said to have taken its name from the Stone of Destiny (or Scone), the place where Scottish kings were once crowned. The original triangular-shaped scone was made with oats and griddle-baked. Today's versions are more often flour-based and baked in the oven. They come in various shapes including triangles, rounds, squares and diamonds.
