  This place just opened off 17th and R.  Been there twice already on two consecutive days.  Over all I'm a big fan and glad that someplace like this has opened up in the area.

  On my first night there I had their Gyro Platter and a Mango Lassi.  The Lassi was thicker than I am used to, but had great taste.  The Gyro Platter was more of a sandwich rather then a platter served with some fries, but still very tasty.

  The second day I had a Lamb Naan Wrap.  Basically consisted of fresh baked naan with chunks of lamb and vegetables.  It was filling, tasted great, and a good deal at $6.95.

  They also have a cafeteria style option available for immediate take out.  There's a vegetable dish(s), a meat entree, and either rice or naan.  

  Oh, I mentioned this in passing but it deserves its own paragraph.  They have a big tandoor where they can make naan fresh to order.  Damn that shit is good.

  Just checked it out today, and got the Lamb Kabob. It was really really good. It came with a large side of chickpeas and a delicious naan. The guy who runs the place is pretty funny, and seems to really believe in this new place!

  I have now been to this place twice, and I am really happy it is new to the neighborhood.  In all, we have ordered the combo platter, the curry chicken, and the tandoori chicken.  

  They are all great (the curry and tandoori have been my favorites so far), and come with chickpeas and rice/naan.  The guy who works/owns the place is so nice, and while there may be a few kinks to work out, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

  I went here last night with my boyfriend.  I got the chicken naan wrap with a side of chickpeas and he got the lamb kebab plate.  I loved my naan sandwich (the naan in general is fantastic and fresh out of the tandoor), and the chickpeas were some of the best I've had in DC.

   The lamb had great flavor, though my boyfriend thought it was a little dried out.  The owner was incredibly friendly and gave us the side of chickpeas for free along with a free side of the meat entree of the day (a chicken with onions and peppers dish that was delicious).  My only complaint is that I think some of the dishes are slightly expensive for what you get (the side of chickpeas, for example, is $5 and quite small).  But I'll definitely be going back.  I agree that this place is a great addition to the area.
